Best of Show

Brew your beer at ChuckAlek Ind. Brewers and The Homebrewer for release in the brewery tap room and at select craft beer bars in San Diego!

SOUR beers will be judged, however if you win Best of Show with a SOUR we very likely will not be able to brew it at ChuckAlek or The Homebrewer. Please consider this when choosing your entries.

2nd & 3rd Prize and Honorable Mention

Hops, Brewing Courses, Gear and other great prizes!

Presentations

Enjoy a day of presentations from San Diego craft brewers and local hop farmers while judging ensues and winners are announced.
We have an all-star lineup of local brewers with roots in homebrewing and will announce the title of their talks soon!
Judges will also be on hand to provide comments on winning beers!


Rules

Only one entry will be allowed per sub category of the BJCP Style Guidelines
Entries will be accepted in categories 1 - 23 of the BJCP Style Guidelines.


Entry Drop-Off

Entries of two 12 oz brown (UNMARKED) bottles will be accepted from anyone 21 years of age or older. Attach BJCP labels with a rubber band (NO TAPE) to each bottle.

Ramona Drop-Off: Registered entries may be dropped off up until 9:00 pm August 31st, 2014 at the Ramona drop-of site.
